LSSv BANGARANG event 4th May. LISTEN UP

Over the past couple of years Liquid Steel Sessions and Bangerang have asserted themselves as two of the best club nights in Leeds, bringing collectively names such as Netsky, Congo Natty, Chef, Yasmin, Oneman, Lil Silva, Sticky, Camo & Crooked, The Heatwave and many other big acts to Leeds. With both nights having such solid reputations we thought it would be great to bring them together for a vs night of epic proportions, but this time its all in aid of charity.

Lurka (Box Clever)

A relatively new face to the dubstep scene, Lurka is causing quite the stir.
His unique, dark, atmospheric productions have lead to him receiving huge DJ support from the likes of Youngsta and Seven, and have also found him collaborating with up and coming prodcuers District, Sleepa and Commodo. His first release Tempted on Box Clever has been smashing up raves and with more releases in the pipeline Lurka is definitely the name to watch out for in 2011.

Goli & Ashburner (Get Darker / Kraken / Ministry of Sound)

Widely regarded as two of the most established artists in dubstep to come out of the Midlands, Goli & Ashburner have spent the last year taking their sound and their label (For The Win) all over the UK and beyond. Having played for some of the biggest nights all over the world and also being a regular fixture at Outlook Festival, Croatia these two producers have solidly cemented themselves within the scene. With a number of releases due over 2011 and a busy gigging schedule to boot, these guys are more than ready to bring their mixture of grime and dubstep to Leeds for some bass driven fun times.

These two have gained themselves a reputation for being some of the most on point selectas in Leeds, being some of the first DJ's to start pushing the UK funky sound up North, this duo really know how to switch the tempos and put together an energetic mixture of Bashment and Funky in seamless style.
