Mr Sleepz: dubstep - bout a year ago, started producin grime bout 3, years ago.
S: What made you start producing?
MS: i listened to alot of grime, was one of my early passions, iv also had a long history of listening to roots reggae and i really liked the ragga side of grime EG Riko, Shizzle…
S: When did you start getting noticed as a dubstep producer?
MS: about 7/8 months ago, i got in contact with a youtube uploader called SuperDHRSIN, he uploaded a few of my tunes then i started getting regular play on sensimedia.net, hosted by Skrewface, who later went on to sign tunes for his label "Bass Punch Records"
S: What’s the scene like down in Brighton?
MS: Scene is amazing!, we have people down every week to play out, its like all the big DJ's want to play brighton, in a few weeks im attending an events that boasts COKI, DISTANCE, SUBSCAPE & MANY MORE. it is the shit down here. I’m also a resident dj at RHUMBA DUB CLUB, and we’re hoping to book Goli & Ashburner for the next one!
S: What producers do you recommend to keep an eye out for right now?
MS: Reika, Magnezium, Skinzman, Devious and Snipaz!
